Chase Grim can’t wrap his mind around the fact that he is the new Lord of Death.
Although he now has the power to make things better for his colony, the new role comes with a lot of responsibility. He has to keep everyone happy and distribute punishments to the people who break rules, even his friends.
That’s not the worst part. The colony is being threatened by other worldly creatures and the only person who knows how to defeat them is the very person Chase wants to put to death for the murder of his parents.
Chase has to make a decision between doing what’s best for his colony or putting her personal feelings aside.
