This the story of Keenan (ex best friend and brother of Keiran) and Sheldon (best friend of Lake). Keenan and Lake also had a dysfunctional relationship in high school. Despite the fact that they loved each other, Keenan kept cheating and Sheldon kept forgiving. Until one day Sheldon stopped forgiving and Keenan got very angry and left their small town.
Now 4 years later they have both changed. But Keenan still remembers Sheldon with hatred and possessiveness, while Sheldon cannot forget Keenan (even if she wanted) because Keenan has left something of his with her. When that “something” is kidnapped, Keenan is back to accept his responsibilities and to punish Sheldon for abandoning him.
